      <title>Sub Position Early Childhood Educator or ECEA Abbotsford</title>
      <description><![CDATA[<p>Taylin Child Care is seeking a passionate and reliable <b>Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA)</b> to join our team as an <b>on-call substitute</b> at our Abbotsford location.</p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for an educator who is nurturing, patient, engaging, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. The ideal candidate has experience with or an interest in the <b>Reggio Emilia philosophy</b> and enjoys spending time outdoors with children in all seasons.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b><b></b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in a licensed childcare setting.</li><li>Support children’s learning and development through play-based experiences.</li><li>Foster a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.</li><li>Collaborate with educators to maintain daily routines and program expectations.</li><li>Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.</li><li>Ensure health, safety, and licensing requirements are consistently met.</li><li>Participate in outdoor learning experiences and encourage children’s exploration of the natural environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications</b><b></b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Valid <b>Early Childhood Educator (ECE)</b> or <b>Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA)</b> Certificate recognized in British Columbia.</li><li>Valid <b>Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR Certification</b>.</li><li>Knowledge of or experience with the <b>Reggio Emilia approach</b> is considered an asset.</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to different classrooms and age groups.</li><li>Genuine passion for working with young children.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What We’re Looking For</b><b></b></p><p><br></p><p>The successful candidate will be:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Loving, patient, and compassionate.</li><li>Engaging and energetic with children.</li><li>A team player who works well alongside other educators.</li><li>Enthusiastic about outdoor learning and nature-based experiences.</li><li>Committed to creating a positive and supportive environment for children and families.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you are passionate about early learning and enjoy making a difference in children’s lives, we would love to hear from you.</p>]]></description>
